The birth anniversary of the beloved founder Cavalier Dr.G.K. Devarajulu is celebrated as Founder’s Day in G.K.D Matric Hr.Sec. School.
Inter school Oratorical competitions in English and Tamil were held in this regard. Nearly 160 students from various institutions in and around the city actively participated in the competitions. During the prize distribution Mr. Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu, the Whole Time Director of Lakshmi Machine Works Pvt. Ltd decorated the chief guest chair on the Dias along with Sri. R. Rajendran C.F.O of LMW and Mrs.Prasanna Radhakrishnan Principal, GKD Matric. Hr. Sec. School. The chief guest honoured the best orators with prizes and all participants were given mementos.
